@baker00l
I have attached the link to the pdf of the Jacksonville campus map. It will help you decide where to park.
You probably have a Covid test scheduled first? I did in August and I started off in the Cannaday Building first for my test. .. seems like on my itinerary they called the building something else. We parked in Lot C. It makes for a little bit of a walk from the Cannady Building to the Davis Building… especially since we missed our hallway turn going to the Davis Building (we had been used to a different route and paid no mind to signs 🙄) … but we did okay with our bad feet 😀 They were remodeling and we had to go through a temporary hallway to get to the Davis Building from Cannaday Building. … much shorter route coming back to parking lot 😁.
There are many areas to rest at … cafeteria and waiting area on first floor of Davis Building… areas in hallways scattered about. Yes, with cushioned chairs and some benches with padding. There is an outdoor area with tables and chairs just outside the cafeteria. I think there were some tables and chairs in the hallway area out from the cafe. .. maybe outside too. Benches outside . … not padded. But peaceful to sit near the water if weather permits.
If you want a printout of your itinerary instead of looking at your phone they will print it out for you when you check in at any area.. just ask. It was big enough print we did not have to use our eyeglasses to read it. You may have gotten a printout in the mail. My appointments were made this time on the way down there… I was a bit urgent in need of having my esophagus stretched.
I have been there many times.. ask me questions and I will try and answer. My appointments are usually the gastro department. .. test being in the hospital building.
Make sure your phone is turned on while there… sometimes one of your appointment times can change and they need to get in touch with you. That happened to me one time while I was in with the NP.. just say you need to take the call.. they will understand.
