Hey! I started my chloride sodium and I’m having a very bad soar throat and burning when swallowing. Is that common or is it a reaction to my Sjogren’s? I hope it will be ok because I really want to continue using it. I also have one vocal cord! One is paralyzed. Swallowing has always been very difficult for me so when I have a soar throat with that is even worse. But I also go to Mayo Clinic in less than two weeks!!!!

@america Yes, the sodium chloride is harsh at first, but you get used to it after awhile. Don't force the whole vial at one sitting. Do only what you can tolerate. Better yet, maybe put it off until you are seen at Mayo. I am not sure if it is good for you since you have only one vocal chord. Just a suggestion; maybe try a spoonful of honey to soothe your throat.
