I had covid first at the end of Jan. 2021. I then had the two vaccines in Feb. 2021. So I'm not sure which caused all of my problems.
I was not vaccinated when I got covid
I was vaccinated with J&J in March 2021, had antibody testing showing I had antibodies in August then got Covid late September 2021 (during the Delta surge and before the CDC recommendation updated to get a second shot after 2 months). I got the moderna booster in December after my doctor had a CT scan of my chest done to rule out blood clots.
Mine came from a breakthrough infection, prior to me getting my third shot - the bivalent booster.
My daughter had Covid in very early days - no vaccine, and is still working through neurological issues. My "extra" daughter was vaccinated, and is very slowly coming out of a breakthrough case, but has underlying Neuro issues from a brain injury that got worse. No lung or other organs affected though.
Others I know with breakthrough cases have not had long Covid unless they were hospitalized.
