I believe there is litigation on the workers comp issue, especially for front-line medical workers who became ill before vaccines were available.
My daughter found herself in the same situation, but the fatigue has mostly lifted, and her words come more easily now, after 20 months. Her employer accommodated her with a 4 hour per day telehealth postiton, but even that was a big stretch some days. She has progressed and will be resuming OR duties, where the pace is more manageable the urban ER.

Mucha suerte y paciencia.
Your story is identical to mine. Praying for healing and answers. Just want our life back. It feels like my brain has forgotten how to do tell my body what to do. If I add anything to the Autonomic System functions like walking, housework or anything requiring processing, my physical symptoms return.
I too have similar issues ! I’m on new supplements but no improvement yet.
I also am an RN, working with child and adolescent psych outpatient. I experience daily brain fog, difficulty with focus and recall. I experience with retaining information, finding myself writing EVERYHING down. So far, employer is very helpful and understanding. I have developed a significant murmur, rapid and irregular heart rhythm. I am getting a heart monitor today, failed pulmonary testing, and scheduled for a CT if the lungs next week. Hang in there. We will get through this,
Very similar but still employed thank goodness🤞. For me, I did not know I had COVID until I had 2months of symptoms.. HEADACHES All-day/Fatigue/Cognitive/Depression/Brain Fig/Muscle-joint pain/Vision, balance, etc. I’ve had PostLyme which presents identical symptoms (but hard to get care)…which makes sense as it’s a pathogen as well. So I thought the Lyme was back in full force (or I was over stressed with move/new-job, etc). I finally went to see my internist and within 10 minutes told me I most likely had Long Covid… did the antibody test, and sure enough, it was positive! So at least now I know and the medical community is taking this much more seriously than Lyme🙏 I am very concerned with my new job though as I am lacking concentration, have impaired cognitive abilities, and can not focus or complete tasks I used to be able to do with my eyes closed:-(. I have heard Long Covid is recognized as a Disability but as an RN you absolutely should be covered under Workman’s Comp! Can you pursued disability or other legal recourse. (Although it is hard to do anything because of symptoms, much less deal with the legal world.). I am hoping to get away with my work deficiencies for now but I too may have to consider disability if my symptoms do not improve drastically in the next month. If anyone knows if Long COVID is an approved DX for Disability coverage, please let me know:-)
I have been suffering these symptoms for a year now. They tell me I just need to see a therapist. Basically it’s anxiety and depression. That I need to be seen by a psychiatrist to put me on the right depression meds. See a physical therapist and have then start weight training. This was at the clinic at university of Michigan. Last week was the second time to travel there. Very discouraged.
Frustration with finding words when needed. On the strange side, suddenly names pop up that have no connection with what I'm doing, which I've had to look up to see who they were. Making bread one day I suddenly began singing a song I must have sung in the 3rd of 4th grade. Not only did I remember the melody but all the words as well. 5 minutes later I could not recall it. These are just 2 examples. Now have buzzing in both ears, fluctuations in body temperature in minutes. Some foods I like don't taste the same or taste awful. My smell comes and goes. I've had MRI's and EEG's. Both normal. Past problems have been chest pain, terrific jaw pain for weeks, sharp pain behind eyes, leg pain, digestive problems. All testing was negative. Had Covid March 2020. My primary doctor scoffs when I've mentioned Long Covid.
Hang in there and please share if you find ways to improve life; I have very similar issues!
