Pfizer booster if antibody test said high
I was told if antibody test was greater than 259 and flagged high you should hold off on booster Anyone have information I have axonal sensory motor peripheral neuropathy Dint want it to get worse Will be moving to AZ in 2 weeks

My concern is traveling if I have reaction my allergist said to wait other drs said to get itv
@silvern12 - I have small fiber peripheral neuropathy and have had the Pfizer booster vaccine along with the high dose flu vaccine. My only reaction was a sore arm and I was a little tired but nothing like the second Pfizer vaccine which I was really tired the day after the shot. If it were me, I would probably listen to my allergist along with taking the normal health precautions traveling. Here's some information that may be helpful for making a decision:

Thank you. My allergist said if you have high antibodies the booster could possibly have reverse effect. He said have another antibody test when I get there to confirm I have enough and if numbers go down get it in AZ. My concern was the traveling so soon after booster

1 ReactionEveryone chemistry is different what works one isn’t a fix all for everyone I’d wait . We’ve seen it go both ways as with all vacancies we here of the good the bad everyday . My neighbor is in the hospital as of Friday after getting a flu shot has double neumoia . Id go with your doctors advice bet yet go with gut instinct
That we all have individual "chemistries", this applies to all Rx and OTC products. The vaccines for Covid 19 have been administered to date several billion times. The side effects reported are at a very low rate and amongst the lowest of any vaccine or Rx drug. There are some indications that one might have that should be cleared with your MD before hand. As for the influenza "shot", at best it does not cover all variants of the influenza virus and therefore may not be more than 50% 0r 60% effective. Pneumonia, however, can arise from other circumstances other than influenza.
