My inshurance is blue shield hmo and won't cover mayo. If u know how much they charge if pay cash. My symptoms start after covid I have never bleeding before but after get covid I start bleeding and pain and I went for chest CT than found thickening bowl lining illium and rectal wall thinking

You can also call the Mayo facility nearest you to talk about financial assistance.

Also, you might consider talking with your HMO to see who you could consult for a second opinion. It sounds like you do need to see a GI specialist.

As you state that your problems began after having COVID you might even inquire of your HMO if they can refer you to a clinic that deals with post-COVID health issues.

You need to see a gi specialist. Even if your insurance doesn’t cover mayo sometimes there is ways around it. They also have other financial assistance. Call mayos financial office. They will be able to help you. Also your hmo should have put
Of network care. I have went to mayo a few times when my insurance wasn’t covered you sometimes just need a prior authorization and there are other ways to get around it. Call mayo they can help.
