Thanks for your input. I'm afraid that you and John are both right on this one. after another 4hr. sleep, I was reaching for straws, ready to try any thing. I'm waiting for a call back from my neurologist to see if he will increase the Garapentin. I would like to ask if anyone in the group has tried any of these magic pills, and have had positive results, or not. there are so many out there, I figure some one must have tried one. I will also check the sites that John suggested. Thanks so much, Chas

Watchout for Gabapentin. I have stage 4 prostate cancer and was experiencing many hot flashes. The Oncologist put me on Gabapentin. I went from 300mgs to 900mgs and then stopped. What I did not realize that the Gabapentin gave me Neuropathy. I have several friends that were on the mef and ended up with severely swollen ankles. Also there are too many fake pills out there that are suppose to take care of the nerve damage. I am now going to the Nathional Neuropathy Center in Richmond , VA. The treatment is am/fm radio waves to stimulate the nerves in your feet and toes. Good luvk.
