My hair fell out about 2 1/2 weeks into chemo with Taxol. I bought a nice wig but i never liked it. It just felt fake and uncomfortable on my head. A few weeks into radiation my technician mentioned that I had hair growing in. I was so happy; I had been thinking that maybe I'd be one of the rare birds who never got her hair back. Now my hair is about once inch long, soft gray and the nicest hair I have ever had. I'd colored it for so many years, it was never a nice texture. I'm tickled pink with my new hair. I bought so many scarves and hats and the wig, and I got so little use out of them. The "bald" time passes quickly.

Sometimes I miss the bald days! It was easy to shower, pat dry and off I go! ☺️ Lost my hair 3 times during treatments and I have to say, this time it came back with a really cool texture.
