Hello, I am new to this group. 21 years ago I had Non-hodgkins lymphoma cancer. The chemo(chop) damaged my heart muscle and the diaphragm is sitting in the center of my left lung. I was put on Coreg 21 years ago. 25 mgx2 per day. Now I also have last-stage COPD. I said No to a Transplant. My Pulmonary Doctor questioned me being on Coreg because its known to present Breathing difficulties. I called my Heart Doctor, he said to stop it! I did cold turkey! Oh my. Now my body vibrates inside, my hands shake, my arms/shoulders hurt. I am a 70-year-old woman..I have been lucky in life..no body aches till this! The heart Doc put me on Benzapril for my blood pressure. I have been having higher than normal BP! On coreg it was nothing to see ...like 80/50...101/77..low...85/56 . So I thought maybe it will help me to breathe better..if my BP is at least in a normal rage! I think the Doctor made a mistake by taking me off of Coreg cold turkey! But..i am still trying to get past the withdrawal symptoms. How long do they last! When will my energy come back!?
