Taking a Lower Dose of Tamoxifen?

I would love to address a few issues coming up here. Firstly, no one really restricts your experience but there are many people who read our posts and encouraging people to take things that may or may not be proven helpful could lead them to harm. Mayo does believe in integrated medicine but only for things that are PROVEN, to be safe and effective. Not just by the company who promotes it. The second thing I would like to address is the use of antidepressants. Cancer is hard! It is harder for some than others, antidepressants have many uses. Help for sleep, help for some side effects to the drugs that might be saving our lives, and sometimes just to help us cope with cancer and all the other things that might be going on in our lives as well. Being dismissive of this really isn’t helpful for anyone. If you don’t want to take them, that is a personal choice, think cost vs benefit. But please do not make divisive comments here. This is a community where we really want to come together and be helpful in a supportive and respectful way.

If you read about no med while on Tamoxifen , the antidepressant is one of them
