Does the hospital ever allow a third visitor on the list of visitors. I am having surgery November 8 and my 2 adult daughters (my husband will be there also) want to come. I realize that only 2 visitors allowed at one time but can I add them to the list of visitors allowed?

Best wishes on your upcoming surgery. If memory serves me, you’re having surgery on your pancreas. I hope everything goes well and with positive results.

Of course you’ll want your family around. It’s comforting for them and for you. As you already know, only 2 visitors at a time in the room but you can probably add a 3rd person to the list, just rotate the visits. When you’re admitted just ask the intake nurse. A little sweet talk can go a long way. 😉
However, limiting visitors is for your safety as well as other patients on the floor so they may stick with the plan. Is there a time frame for how long you’ll be there?
