Hello, and welcome to Mayo Connect - I see that this is your first post. You will find a lot of helpful people here who will be glad to share their experiences with you.
I too had metal on metal hip replacements, and experienced heavy metal poisoning and many other side effects. Mine were discovered at 4 1/2 years, and replaced 10 years ago after I complained repeatedly, so perhaps less damage occurred in my legs.
When I was having trouble with muscle spasms and pain, a PT determined my gait was off due to limping badly for years. It took time and therapy, but once that was corrected things began to heal and the pain was better. I still have strange "ditches" in each thigh where the damaged tissue and muscle never completely recovered, but at least no pain.
What have you tried so far?

my issues are nightly😢 muscle spasms ...it is always stiff and sore....pain when lifting my foot and leg with the hip...severe pain after a misstep, like stepping in a small hole.

Treatments i have tried

Ice...which helps sometimes, sometimes it makes it worse
Heat...which helps
Ropinerole ..a med for restless leg
Stretching...which helps
Cutting back caffiene
