I don't exactly know I should reply at.
It seems like there for awhile there were quite a few replies.
An update, he had his biospy last Thrusday. The dr.who did it came out and told me....If the lympnotes are cancer free, then the nodule is also noncanerous. But if the lympnotes have cancer so does the nodule. The prior prognosis would also have to have surgery. Where the latter would be radiation plus chemo. Well thank Heavens for small miracles, her ideas were wrong. The oncologist called the next day and said, no dignity of cancer in the lympnotes. Still don't know a 100 % that the nodule is cancerous or what type. The next step is just radiation without chemo. The nodule had grown from July to Sept., not a lot. I was also told that usually means cancer but not always.
Which should be starting in 10 days.

@scared2 The news from the oncologist should give you both some peace of mind, right? How does your husband feel with this suggested course of treatment. It will be interesting to hear what the results of the nodule biopsy say. I would bet at that point, the oncologist will have a more detailed plan of what will treatment look like.

Take care of yourself, too, and look for something today that will leave a smile on your face.

@scared2 Sounds like good news! You might ask the oncologist, “to explain in laymen’s terms, what the lymph node biopsy showed.”
Now, take some deep breaths and go out to see the Fall leaves and relax. We’ll stay with you!
