Hi, I had covid in March 2020 and recovery took u til July 2020. Since then I gained 20 lbs and had pituitary surgery and recently diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment. Prior to these events, I was an active traveler as a self- employed Mitigation Specialist working on death penalty cases since 1997. I am lost and don’t know what to do. I loved my work and I finally accepted I couldn’t do it anymore. Wasn’t planning on retiring but now I am forced to.
Yes. Gained 20 lbs. possibly reduction of physical activity due to fatigue, joint and muscle pain.
I'm so sorry. I caught covid November 2021 and by January of 2024 I had gained 60 pounds and suffered a dvt, got diagnosed with polycythemia which the oncologist ruled it was caused by covid, since then I've been prescribed a wonderful medication called topamax and lost that 60 pounds plus 10 more as of now. I encourage everyone with post covid to get tested for polycythemia, it saved my life.
I have gained more weight since having Covid in January 2022. I also have lots of inflammation and stuff. I feel like no matter what I do i can’t lose weight.
