I can barely keep going so thats why it scares me regarding my job.

I originally started taking it for nerve issues in my left thigh. If I dont take it I have bugs, pain and itching in that thigh.

Im going to ask my Dr to help me taper off of it. I dont think I have a choice.

Ill need an alternative. I just dont know what.

@tami1966 Our bodies seem to be in a perpetual state of change. What was going on when you first started the gabapentin may not be happening now. For me, I have used CBD lotions/creams that really help calm down the itchies I sometimes get from my chemo. Do you think that is worth a try for you?

Good luck in the tapering off of the gabapentin. You're absolutely right, to hsve your dr involved in doing that.. i want to hear how you do, and would love it if you let me know.
