Quilterdar, I am curious You said your PMR was gone, how long did it take to go into remission? And it came back? I’d love to hear from others that there really is hope that it will go into remission.

@suzorand, I've had two occurrences of PMR. The first lasted 3 and half years in which time I was able to taper off of prednisone. It stayed in remission for a little over 6 years and came out of remission mid 2016 when I went back on prednisone (20 mg) and I was able to taper off in about a year and half. My PMR has been in remission since late 2018 so I'm hoping it never comes back. Also, I've made a lot of lifestyle changes which I'm thinking will help keep it in remission - eating healthier, more exercise and losing some weight. There is hope! Keep learning as much as you can and take it a day at a time. Here's some information that might be helpful.
