@rjwintl Also you can buy bagel mix in spice section and sprinkle it on sourdough toast butter first if you want that's good too

Thanks, @lioness. I had not heard about the bagel mix before. It sounds great. I'll look for that next time I'm in the store.

@lioness Hi Lioness. I missed the first conversations about bagels. Could you please tell me why bagels are recommended by Mayo Clinic? Is it in reference to diabetes, or gluten intolerance, or...? I have the latter as well as lactose intolerance and would sure love to switch from gluten-free to bagels! I also have multi-autoimmune conditions such as GCA, IBS, OLP, CKD, but I beat the Prednisone-induced diabetes with diet and walking, plus getting off Prednisone.
