@martyk

Thank you Lori. I think your right about the RFA. I think my pain is a little worse. The toes have been a problem since 2016 when I had surgery on the toes of right foot. Then had another surgery in 2018 to remove the hardware that the first doctor put in. So it's been about 6 years since the pain started in the right foot. Of course as you know with chronic pain, it really affects your quality of life. You wlll try anything to get your life back. To compound the problem with the heroin drug addicts and over doses the doctors won't give you strong pain killers.

Hi again, Marty, I hope the RFA has not made things worse! I thought I would mention one thing. It's probably a long shot, but I heard another lady here talk about taking Benfotiamine for her foot pain, and that her pain went down considerably from taking it. I started taking it, and within about 48 hours, I would say my pain has been cut in half and many hours of the day, I am pain free. Nights are still the most difficult. Benfotiamine is a fat soluble form of Vitamin B1 (thiamine). If a person is low in thiamine, he can get damaged nerves and pain. I would imagine I was low in thiamine because Benfotiamine has been the only thing that has considerably lowered my pain. I buy the Best Vite brand on Amazon, and take 2 300mg. pills daily. I thought maybe you would want to give it a try. I have read that it can take even a month to start improving, but I improved almost immediately. I feel that I have gotten my life back to some degree. Not perfect, but way improved. Maybe give Benfotiamine a try. It's just Vitamin B1. Lori
