Hello,
I am 72 and diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis and trigeminal neuralgia but today an ultrasound showed I have heterogeneous liver parenchyma and a liver cyst and a kidney cyst and polips in my gold bladder
My PCP sent me the report but only mentioned the liver cyst to be checked in three months.
I looked it up and it seems I have a fatty liver .
I weigh 97 Lbs! And have been fighting weight loss and loss of appetite for several years. I was also told my iron is elevated
Anyone comment on this please? I am puzzled to say the least

Get a colonoscopy now. Stay away from grease and fatty foods. Look up detoxing your liver. See another doctor. May have cancer

This caught my eye "... have been fighting weight loss and loss of appetite for several years. I was also told my iron is elevated," along with the comment about polyps in your gall bladder, liver cyst and "fatty liver." It seems like this combination should be looked at because a low/non-functioning gall bladder and/or liver affects the absorption of nutrients, and can depress digestion and appetite.
I think you should ask for further investigation of this by your doc - soon, not just wait & watch. Or referral to a gastroenterologist. There are other tests that can be performed to pinpoint exactly what is happening.
