April 2020, I was put on 25mg Zoloft for anxiety. Bad choice! By June 2020 I was having severe extremely severe heart palpitations. Turns out I am in that special group of people who are very highly sensitive to Zoloft. Getting off the Zoloft has become a nighmare. I can only taper 0.4mg at a time without being in complete misery. The book that has been the most help is getting off the Zoloft has been "The Anti-Depressant Solution" written by Dr. Joseph Glenmullem. Dr. Glenmullen has 30+ years of experience helping people discontinue Zoloft and other drugs in that category. Please read the book. Hopefully his adivce will help you too! Please let us know! Good luck!

My apologies for justing adding to this thread. I was having trouble figuring out how to start another thread. I have continued my research as to why I am so sensitive to Zoloft. I finally came across a branch of medicine called Pharmacogenetics. Simply, this studies how some medications (not all will interact with your body based on your genetic composition. Turn out SSRIs interact with the 5-HTT located within Chromosome 17. If I have this right, if the gene has a certain configuration, the person is hypersensitive to Zoloft. I gave this information to the Cleveland Clinic. Within 2 days they made an appointment for me with a doctor at their Center for Genetic Wellness Clinic. Finally after almost 2 years of searching, I have something I can tell the doctors is wrong with me trying to get off Zoloft. I no longer have to listen to them politely just nod their head in agreement while not believing me. A victory!
