@lainey how about partially frozen jello that you can drink? Yum!
@lainey, hello to all in the group and I hope everyone is staying strong. I know it is very hard to drink something your body is rejecting. Our gag reflex is automatic and mine is extra sensitive. So I add some juice to my water to flavor it and using a straw might help to get past the gag reflex while drinking thickens liquids. Best of luck and good health!

Great idea. Jane
@chinasmom how thick is your is it Nectar?
@lainey what do you use to thicken your water?
Yes - nectar thickness
I’ve tried a gel called simply thick and a powder mix ( can’t remember brand name)
@lainey. What about if you leave it a little more liquids to get use to it. I use the same and I like the gel. It is not like drinking clear water and it feels like you can’t satisfy your thirst but you kind of get use to it. The powder is thicken use the
CLEAR but I prefer the gel. Have you had the xray video deglutition Lainey?

Please tell me how to deal with thick liquids. How do you get enough water to meet the daily requirement? The thick gel water is gross. I’m trying to stay hydrated but can not do thin liquids and literally gag trying to get the gell- water down. I’m supposed to drink over 60 ounces of water per day. How can you stand it?!
