How do you treat excess scarring after TKR?

@jmacvol I have scarring and adhesions from my TKR, also. I joined a Facebook group called Arthrofibrosis Support… @arthrofibrosissupport

The people in that group have experienced the same thing and have a wealth of knowledge about arthrofibrosis (if that is what you have) and it’s treatment.

It has given me a lot of hope and it does help to know I’m not alone in this. So many people suffer from the same exact thing. I’m hopeful because next week I have a consultation with an orthopedist in a different city who treats people with problems like this. If you can, I encourage you to check out the Facebook Group!

Gene from IL same here with unable to stand and walk for even shorten distances. Scar tissue and my 2n knee rplcmt. Looking forward to my Jan appmt at Mayo Clinic's Ortho Dept.
