Forteo vs. Tymlos: Which did you choose?

@bkour Yes, there is a good reason for injecting into the stomach/abdominal area rather than the thigh. The injections are meant to be subcutaneous—just under the skin layers and not into muscle. For most of us, the abdomen is perfect because the skin and fat are loose enough to be pinched up, thus making a perfect injection site. Yes, you can use the thigh as long as the skin can easily be pinched up. The medication should NOT go into the muscle! And, also, you want a wider area to choose an injection site. The thigh really isn’t suitable.
Are you having concerns about injecting into your abdomen?

Yes, I have concerns because of the side effects I have read in this forum.

Not meaning to jump into the middle of a thread but since you commented about thighs... I'm doing Forteo 7 days a week and Gamunex one day a week. All into my stomach area. (Gamunex uses 4 needles to infuse.) I have goose eggs across my stomach when I finish infusing. I was thinking about switching Forteo to my thighs. I don't carry much fat. Any thoughts?
