COPD has two main "branches" Emphysema and Bronchitis, only your Dr should advise you what you have, a pulmonologist would be better, they specialize in respiratory illnesses. Yes, I smoked, but quit before I knew I had COPD... I used laser treatments, like accupuncture w/o needles. You MUST quit, yes I smoked for over 40 yrs and felt it was my right my body, so I know where you are.... my sister is there now too. The hardest thing to quitting is making up your mind that you HAVE TO QUIT.
