I discovered a 1cm nodule and the results came back as Bethesda V. The surgeon advised for me to get it removed and I'm having surgery in a few weeks. Due to this result, he didn't want to risk it getting any bigger. But I guess waiting and repeating all the tests in six months would be totally fine...

Hi ViaCH, as you probably already know, the classification of Bethesda V means a high likelihood of the nodule being cancerous. It is usually recommended to be removed as your surgeon suggested. Are you planning to have the surgery? What questions would you like to ask others to help you prepare?
