Not true. Just because you have a tremor doesn’t mean it’s a essential tremor. I have significant tremors in my right hand and arm. I sent a video to my neurologist who thought it might be an essential tremor. She wanted me to see a Movement Specialist (a neurologist with two years of additional training regarding movement disorders). I had the tremors while I was there and she saw the entire episode and diagnosed it as a functional tremor. There is a big difference between functional tremors and essential tremors. Just thought I would clarify, I don’t want to come off as pushy.
