@pkayh , Pat, do you also do the inhaled saline treatments several times a day? Also, what kind of art do you do?
Yes, I add about 1 ml saline to the 3 ml albuterol 4 times a day when I use my nebulizer. I'm not sure how much saline to use. As far as art, I have mostly done watercolor, but have done some oils and acrylics. It's a hobby that is compatible with sitting.
My MAC/bronchiectasis has gotten quite a bit worse the last 2 years. It was my doctor's GOAL to not progress. It seemed to work for quite a few years, since I was diagnosed in 2002. I now have very low energy, though I do go to the fitness center 2 x a week and use a vest machine, nebulizer with albuterol, and postural drainage. Have had several antibiotic regimens off and on. My biggest problem is breathing. I am fine just sitting, but any activity is difficult.
