All the docs say the symptoms can last for months. I have not contacted my neuro-surgeon but I think I will to at least tell him not to order an MRI in Oct. I have had Gamma surgery and have an MRI every year to monitor the meningioma. I don't know if he can help or if I just wait it out. My sister is having an 80th birthday cruise in June and I have until Feb. to cancel. Right now I couldn't go on it. Any ideas on how to get rid of the headaches and motion sickness? I had to take a Zofran for nausea at the eye docs in the waiting room as the light and noise was too much for me and a migraine pill after the exam. thanks, Joan

Hi Joan,
You've been getting great tips from @suzbyrne.
Here's more information about both concussion and traumatic brain injury from Mayo Clinic.
- Concussion https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/concussion/symptoms-causes/syc-20355594
- Traumatic brain injury https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/traumatic-brain-injury/symptoms-causes/syc-20378557

Rest and minimal screen time is important. So is getting proper diagnosis and rehabilitation. I recommend starting with the Brain Injury Association of America for guidance

Hi, Joan. Just got on and saw your response. Wow, you've been down a twisty trail. I looked up about Gamma surgery and meningioma so I've learned something. For starters, I'll ask one question at a time. That way you won't have to be on the computer too long.

Do you think your fall happened as a result of your meningioma symptoms? Looking forward to hearing back. Suzanne
