@windwalker how long is that drive? Understand the wait to move until absolutely necessary...moving unfun...
@boomerexpert , The drive is 2 1/2 hrs. We don't mind it though. it is one straight shot down I-95 and we enjoy the better shopping and restaurants. I was going every 6 months, but now once a yr. I go back next June, unless I become ill.
@windwalker since it's a "we" makes it easier for sure! I'm a "me" so that drive not an option given my RA...glad you have access to great care in a way that's doable for you. Now to find a place within, say 45 mins, with decent docs for your other care!
@boomerexpert , For now, I travel to Jacksonville for my routine check-ups for all of my issues. Any problems arise, I call them on the phone. If I become seriously ill or get near time for a transplant, then I will move. I am ok for now.
