I can tell you this is not uncommon for a lot of drugs. The way it was explained to me was keeping everything regular prevents the see-saw effect of constipation and then diarrhea, for me it is Mira lax, every night. For my husband it is dulcolax every afternoon. Please talk to your doctor, no one should have to live this way. I went through what I refer to as death cramps. Have you talked to your doctor about this?
I have not. I was not suspecting the Letrozole as the culprit when I saw him in August and I was not cramping. That started just days after the visit and just as I was leaving to go on a work trip to Omaha. I was so constipated that I vomited after that nights dinner and did not eat for the remainder of the conference I was attending. I was fearful of becoming ill again, so stuck mostly to liquids. I have an appointment at the end of the month to see him again and have lab work. In the interim, I will try the Miralax to see if it improves. Thank you for the advice.
