@beleza Thank you. Yes, my surgeon did know about my art talent because when I met him at my first appointment, I had the painting of the horses running in the river with me. I wanted him to know what I needed to be able to do again so I brought it with me. He asked right away about it and he liked it and said he wouldn't mind having something like that hanging in his house. I told him that could be arranged and we all laughed. That is how it started and that planted the seed for the portrait that came later when I wanted to express my gratitude. He was also impressed with watching the video of me painting his portrait. I wanted that portrait to be equal to the surgery that he gave to me, and I felt very inspired to do it.
