Thank you for the response. I appreciate it. You stated, “were a big volume and that’s why I couldn’t gain weight and was loosing a bit my body wasn’t absorbing all the nutrients and the colon is irritated so it takes a while.” - did you have a relapse or was this statement in reference to AFTER the infection? I have one big volume BM a day, so the doctor seems satisfied. However, the doctor has mention retesting but the doctor does not know if that would do more harm because of my terrible anxiety about all of this. I’m seeing a therapist because I’m constantly worried it may come back. Also, with one large volume, mushy BM ad day could that mean I still have it? I know I’m asking things I should ask the doctor, but I’m super afraid to get on a cycle of antibiotics that may or may not work. Thank you for “listening”. Glad you are doing a little better.

I had one relapse and was lucky didn’t get another one although had so many scares over the course of 8 months. I was referencing post c Diff I had big volume stools and multiple times per day. It took a year for my colon to settle and feel somewhat normal again. I wouldn’t say I am back to 100% but much better than when I was sick. I know what you mean the c Diff changed me as well and had to see a therapist for the anxiety I had all over. I lived in hell but hang in there it will pass. Go get tested if your doctor is suggesting it it will make you feel better! Get well and keep us posted!
