Anyone taken Evenity (romosozumab) for Osteoporosis?
Has anyone taken Evenity? I understand it’s only been on the market for a little over a year. I’m hoping it will help with my severe osteoporosis. Any information is helpful.

Welcome Tina. I moved your question about Evenity to this existing discussion that @arlene7 started, asking for people's experience with this prescription drug for helping to manage osteoporosis. I encourage you to read previous post by members like @arlene7 @gabiquinn @pattyduerkop @elisabethv @sarahw02 @judith73 and @annonthecape. They can also help answer your questions.

My name is Tina. I am almost 67 years old. My t-scores are -3.3 at the spine and -3.0 for total hip. I am considering Evenity.
.
I have the following questions for those on Evenity.
/
What are your age and t-scores?
.
Did you see a dentist before starting?
.
Did you see a cardiologist before starting?
.
How often do you have blood tests done to evaluate calcium levels in the blood?
.
What side-effects have you had?
I have just taken my fourth injection.(s). Admittedly, the first few injections were tough. So far, I have had less pain post injection and just generally feel less achy and tired. Positive statements are needed for people thinking about this drug.
