My doctor said that I was at the maximum of gabapentin I could take - it was working but ran out after about 6 hours. He said we could add Lyrica once a day. There are a few more things they can add as our disease progresses and overwhelms the medicine. Nortriptyline (spelling?) and some other stuff. I like gabapentin better as it does not make me sleepy and Lyrica does. So, I take the Lyrica at night and the gaba during the day. Peggy
