@ltsally

I'm about 11 months out from having had reverse shoulder replacement. My only suggestion is get a nerve block.... Mine lasted about 6 days which meant pretty much pain free...you control how much pain relief you get by adjusting the block. I have pretty much total range of motion and am working with a trainer to build up strength. I use my shoulder/arm for everything with no limitations. YEAH!

@itsally and @jamy, I would like to thank you for your updated version of a TSR. It certainly appears that there have been quite a few improvements in the preparation for this surgery as well as the recovery process. Mine was done in 2014 which seems like so long ago. And yet......I also have enjoyed a pleasant and encouraging recovery.

I am most impressed by the pre-surgery education that is now available for patients and their families. When I had my TKR two weeks ago, my surgeon invited me and my life partner to come and visit with him to watch a video. Now they make these pre-op presentations appropriate for and available to patients and their families. My memory of the recent video presentation for the TKR is that it was introduced by the surgeon and he could stop and review any issue as requested.

Knowledge is power......and this appears to be another way to increase and enhance the preparation for a surgical event.

May you have happiness and the causes of happiness..
Chris
