@maryjo2sell Hi Mary Jo. I just returned from being evacuated from 'Irma'. It did not hit our town, although we were supposed to have a direct hit originally. I hope that you stayed safe and that your home is alright. PLEASE let me know how you are doing. You are in my thoughts, Terri
I am glad for you Windwalker. We have a house in Largo near Clearwater and Tampa and we were blessed also. God was with us!
@nick52 Hey fellow Floridian...I live in Palm Harbor!
Oh wow In. Palm Arbor . It would be nice to meet you this winter boomerexpert!
Is Palm Harbor in Pinellas county? We live in Largo
@nick52 indeed just as is Largo...surprised you haven't heard of Palm Harbor!
Would love to! Contact me here when you're ready for a get together cocktail!
No problem! Thanks boomerexper!
Hi Terri .Sorry I took so long to reply! Evacuated, then tried to return home, but no water or electric so headed back to a hotel. But condo is fine. Thank goodness. Glad your place was okay! Did not look good there for awhile.
Guess the excitement and travel did not do well for me. Ended up getting sick and had to bring in my big guns- Levoquin and prednisone. But they helped!
Just curious- on another site, another Bronch person just moved to Vegas for drier air. She lived in South Carolina, very humid. She said she already felt better and less sputum. Would love it if anyone knew if this could help? I looked all over the internet but did not find any proof. Wouldn't less "stuff" be fabulous?
Thanks for your thoughts Terri!
Fondly, Mary Jo
@maryjo2sell Ha! I just had this same conversation yesterday with a friend of mine. She asked me why I do not paint or make jewelry any more. I told her that I am have a 4 hour window in a day and it ususally includes errands, or housework. I went blow by blow with her how my daily routine goes (mine includes 2 hrs breathing treatment in the a.m. and then another two in the p.m.) That is 4 hrs gone right there. Told her how I hit a wall about 3:30-4:00 every afternoon and have to lay down for an hour and a half to that I can rest up to get through dinner. After dinner, I am exhausted, then watch tv with hubby. She said "wow, I hadn't a clue!" Don't get me wrong; in the 4 hours I have free, I go and do. I go to the gym, ride my bike, walk my dog, or help my friends i.e. helped one pack last week to move. Although admittedly, the humidity has stopped me in my tracks over this summer. My point is, I am not so sickly that I do nothing, but, gosh, it seems like everything takes twice as long as it used to! P.S. having a two story house doesn't help.
