I been using valium a little more often now and I talked to my doctor about this and she said it is okay to keeping taking but I prefer something I can take long term she suggest seroquel she prescribe 25mg and said I can take 1 to 2 tablets I did it yesterday and kind of worked it I still had some anxiety but not bad I am wonder if there is any real different between the immediate release vs the XR release I need something that will keep me calm all day I am planning on trying the seroqeul again today and I have to let my doctor know how it goes

Seroqeul is a pretty serious medication. Be aware that it can bring on an imbalance in your insulin/sugar level (ie medication induced diabetes) and it can also effect the lipids in your blood (ie cause heart disease). If you find that this medication works for you, your doctor should monitor your A1C, fasting glucose and cholesterol and triglycerides. No I am not a doctor, but I am medically aware and research the pluses and minuses of any medication before I am willing to take it - particularly if it may be a long term medication.
