Yes, Gabapentin does come in a time-release formulation.
I know they make 600 my and maybe 300 mg too. You may need to increase your dose. Gabapentin, although the recommended daily amount is considered 3,600 mg a day. However if you don't have side effects or they are tolerable it can be increased we'll above that limit. I knew it a man who took 7,000 mg a day for Neuropathy. I only took the 3,600 but wonder if a higher dose would have helped. years later I took fentanyl which helped me but that drug is it commonly given out, Well at least not legally.

I was on 3600 mg/day and still had break through pain. My PCP said I shouldn’t be on that high of a dose. Plus I had a psychological event which can be caused by high doses.
