Hello @denishous, Welcome to Connect. I checked into stem cell therapy but my Mayo Doctor didn't think it would work for me as my degenerative arthritis was already too bad so I went with a knee replacement I still think it is the way to go if you are younger. I was 75 at the time and had already been turned down from a clinical trial because I was older than 70. Here is some information from 2018 you might find helpful.

Have you thought about having your doctor give you a referral to Mayo Clinic?

Thanks for your experience and comment. I am fortunate being healthy except for having to take a blood thinner (eliquis) for AFIB. The stem cell operatiion is not as invasive as a knee replacement. My friends recommends it as they have told me that the knees have returned to normal. I am looking forward to walking uptstairs and downstairs without pain. Denis
