I like that phase also. Two days away from the lung specialist. I'm kinda scared. Not that it's cancer, the dr kinda said it was when she called on the phone. What I'm scared of that it could be worse then expected. She told me its about a inch.
Back in the latest or early 90s. My ex had a co worker that was diagnosed with cancer and a year &1/2 to live. They did exploratory surgery and gave 6 months. He didn't make 2 months, the cancer spread like wild fire from the surgery. Can't remember all the details.

Friday,, We will find out if there will be a biosopy or what want plan to do.
Well heres hoping, its a nothing.
And all ends well.

Emotionally a mess,
Scared2

Hi @scared2,

Try to remember that not everyone's cancer diagnosis is the same. When you think of others who passed quickly after a cancer diagnosis it is hard not to think that will happen to your husband, however, we do not yet know what he will learn on Friday.

Be as positive as possible right now for both you and your husband. Good thoughts for peace and healing are going your way.

@scared2 i have to agree with @hopeful33250 . Everyone is so different. My neighbor, who has pancreatic cancer, gives me such hope. He has outlived all predictions! He works in his yard, rides his bike and just enjoys life. Do the best you can and take every day as a new day.
