I’m popping in a little late but eavesdropped in the conversations. @scared2, no wonder you’re feeling vulnerable, you have so much weight of uncertainty on your shoulders right now. As you can see, you have a family here on Connect who’ll help ease your burden in any way we can. We’re not here just to answer questions. So even with no questions you never have to leave! We’re here to offer each other encouragement, to lend an ear, give support and above all, to instill hope.
Hope is powerful.
When I was at the lowest point of my life, my transplant nurse whispered something in my ear one night which left an enormous impact and renewed my inner strength. “The only thing stronger than fear is Hope.”
It’s my hope that you’ll think of this phrase often throughout this period with your husband’s illness.

Hi Lori,
I love that quote that you shared with @scared2, "The only thing stronger than fear is Hope." I'm going to put that on my mirror!!

Wow, Lori- How lucky to have had a nurse as you did! I'm also going to use this. It's so powerful and @scared2 - Please know that we are all pulling for your husband know that deep inside you have the strength to handle this!
