@echolsleslie I'm sorry you have had such severe effects from Reclast. They say the percentage is extremely low, and I do know a number of people who have not had any problems, but for the people who do have problems, it really is miserable.

I know my doctor will push Reclast when I get off of Tymlos so I am very concerned about this too. Will you go on a different drug after your year of Reclast is over?

In case it is helpful, I did Forteo for two years and experienced positive gains (approx 12% in Spine and 6% in Hip). Some Tymlos is similar, you will hopefully also have positive gains. I had not taken any other Osteo drugs prior to that. I did the Reclast infusion a couple of months ago (followed the hydration/Tylenol advice) and experienced very little discomfort or side effects. Hopefully you will also breeze through. I always feel so badly for people who do have reactions to these meds.
