I always appreciate Dr. Poland’s words of advice. As an organ transplant recipient I’m interested in his comment that a third “booster” vaccine will most likely be recommended within the next week or so for people like me. Will the recommendation be to get a different vaccine than the previous two doses? Also, have there been studies showing a boost in immune responses in organ transplant recipients who received a third dose or is this just an attempt without data to prove a third dose will boost our immune response?
