Hi Rosemary,
Thanks so much for this info. It's been freaking me out the last couple days.
No, the flashes/light balls are more off to the side of my head. Kinda like a clyediscope effect. (Probably spelled that wrong) I just messaged my PCP. Thanks

The kaleidoscope effect sounds very like migraine aura. I hope your doctor was able to diagnose or reassure you. It’s possible to get aura without headache pain.
However, I’ve had Covid for 14 days now and have also experienced light flashes in the periphery of my vision. I do suffer migraines, so perhaps Covid can trigger this in people with head injury or neurological issues. Good luck.
