Could you ask for a pt consult to teach you the best exercises for your situation. This might get you some help insurance wise as well, some insurance companies will cover exercise programs when prescribed by physical therapy. Do you have any issues with the affected side?

The medical group I belong to (Kaiser Permanente) has the program. It includes warm ups, stretches, core exercises and strength training. There are also exercise companies in our area that either puts on a program free for breast cancer patients. You might check with your medical carrier or American Cancer Society to see if there are programs in your area.
