Hello. I am thinking of having the Nevro Hf10 stimilator device implanted / due to my severe nerve pain in both feet ( mostly the R). I had L4,5, S1 fusion w decompression 2 yrs ago. I also had severe spondylolisthesis & spinal stenosis. My toes were numb, prior to surgery - also nerve pain in leg.& severe low back pain, although not debilitating.. They are now alive w activity.! 😱 I am taking Lyrica 600mg/day which takes the edge off.
I was wondering if there was anyone out there that has had success w the Nevro HF10 stimulator. Seems I have the start of small fiber neuropathy according to my last EMG. My Orthopaedic dr told me it could take possibly yrs for nerves to grow back..? I am seeing a Pain specialist now who is recommending the device. I am fearful, even tho there is a 7 day trial period where device is worn outside the body. The leads will be in the epidural area for the trial tho.. I also know the FDA just recently approved this device for neuropathy. My back is good, its just the nerve pain in the feet!! Any advice?

Hello @lola1, Welcome to Connect, an online community where patients and caregivers share their experiences, find support and exchange information with others. There is another discussion started by @elsa who was looking into the Nevro HF10 stimulator:

It is good to be cautious and understand the benefits and the risks involved with the procedure. Did your pain specialist discuss the risks with you?
