@echolsleslie

I received the reclast infusion 1 month ago for 5 days I had chills, sweats and body aches. Day 5 felt better and then experienced eye Inflammation and had to go to the doctor. One month in I have the worst headaches. I am healthy, not on any meds exercise 5 days a week but had bone loss and this was recommended by my doctor. I am shocked it has been this bad and never want it again ! Has anyone had these types of side effects I am desperate.

Um, does high blood pressure count? I’m having to take pills because it shot up so high after my Reclast infusion. I still can’t sleep either.
If you Google “Reclast” you’ll find an entire website dedicated to bad side effects from it. There are hundreds of people who experienced terrible things after their infusions. (Of course I found it after I’d had my infusion.)

@echolsleslie I'm sorry you have had such severe effects from Reclast. They say the percentage is extremely low, and I do know a number of people who have not had any problems, but for the people who do have problems, it really is miserable.

I know my doctor will push Reclast when I get off of Tymlos so I am very concerned about this too. Will you go on a different drug after your year of Reclast is over?

I am having my first Reclast in 2 weeks, I’m really praying I don’t go through what you did! I can tell you that the very same side effects you had have been reported in the Facebook Reclast group, you are not alone. I hope by now you are fully recovered and that the infusion was worth it. I’m very fearful of the med and even more fearful of being without it! I just believe I would have never been in this predicament had My HRT NOT been stopped! I had no history of cancer, stroke, or osteoporosis in my family I believe many women and Drs were pressured by big Pharma and the hysterical media and now are paying the price.
