Thank you for your reply! I have my endocrinologist, oncologist and gastroenterologist (I seem to have my own clinic) looking at this anomaly - led by my PCP.
All this chromogranin business started with hot flashes I had out of the blue 20 years after a hysterectomy and two years after cessation of Premarin. I’m still flashing - and I have weird chromogranin results. I’m thinking it’s going to be part of my permanent persona.
We have a university medical center here; I just need to figure out where to go there.

@dbmenger I hope that you do get another opinion. Another opinion can at least put your mind at ease or give you an answer. Either way, you need to have some answers.
