I had a Reclast infusion (my first and last) three days ago and my blood pressure has skyrocketed. I can’t sleep either. This stuff is the devil and I wish I hadn’t taken it. I’m not in a “last resort” situation as my doctor said to urge my taking it. Beware, y’all!

I am so sorry to hear about the problems you are having. The FDA list hypertension as a side effect, but I didn't see insomnia on the list. Hope you are getting help from you doctor for the blood pressure issue, to avoid additional problems. (https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/nda/2011/021817Orig1s012.pdf). Were you told about being hydrated, taking Tylenol, calcium and vitamin D for the 'acute phase' symptoms?

I had two infusions and no side effects. But my dental implants got in the way. I wished I could have had the other three infusions. Maybe I would have been in a better place before starting Tymlos. Now dental surgery is in my way again to start Prolia. So we wait till Jan. or Feb. 2022. Thanks for your reply. Stay safe and be well.
