Fluid pocket in breast hasn’t dissipated after surgery

I have had a fluid pocket in my right breast after surgery a year ago. I thought it would be gone by now. It doesnt hurt or bother me except that it has a hardened outer area. Everything I have read tells me it would disappate into the body within a year. Anyone have this> Anything I can do??

Thank you for looking to connect. We are all patients who have different experiences. I had a fluid pocket for a while from surgery. After about 6 months my doctor went in and removed it as it was starting to be a problem. Have you discussed this with your surgeon?

Dr is a fool. Says he is not sure he should drain anymore and left it at that! I still have the fluid pocket and it is getting harder. Please dont say see another Dr. There are none.
